Dubai Airshow 2023 names EDGE Group Defence Technology Partner 2023

Dubai Airshow, the world’s largest aerospace expo, announced EDGE Group as its Defence Technology Partner for 2023.

EDGE, one of the world’s top advanced technology and defence firms, will showcase a wide range of aviation, defense, and technology products and services to worldwide industry leaders and innovators at the 18th Airshow.

It will also highlight the group’s ongoing commitment to localisation as part of the “Make it in the Emirates” initiative by adopting Industry 4.0 technologies across its operations in support of the UAE’s Fourth Industrial Revolution strategy, which names advanced defence manufacturing one of the future’s key industries.

EDGE Group has been named the official Defense Technology Partner of the Dubai Airshow 2023.

The Dubai Airshow Advisory Board, which includes senior members from across the aerospace, space, and defense ecosystem, provides strategic advice and insights on themes and the world-class agenda of this year’s Airshow to support global industry growth. EDGE Group is a member.

EDGE Group will highlight its highly competitive products’ interoperability across multiple domains at this year’s Airshow, including autonomous capabilities, smart weapons, electronic warfare, and cyber technologies. It will also demonstrate its portfolio of innovative firms and business divisions.

EDGE inked contracts and partnerships of AED18.6 billion, including AED4 billion in overseas exports. In the first quarter, the firm released 14 groundbreaking innovations, bolstering its worldwide leadership in advanced technology and defense.

The JENIAH unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV), AIRTRUCK logistics drone, QX6-50 UAV, and Instrumented Testing Platform fixed-wing UAV were among 11 autonomous products and solutions added to its portfolio of advanced autonomous air systems and air defense solutions.

EDGE has acquired a majority share in Milrem Robotics, Europe’s top robotics and autonomous systems developer, and another big investment in High Lander, a leading unmanned traffic management solutions supplier.

EDGE’s opening of a LATAM regional office in Brazil, where it already has multiple strategic alliances, shows its fast worldwide expansion to five continents. Dubai Airshow 2023 will allow the group to meet many international stakeholders and explore more lucrative sales and cooperation options.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai, and UAE Minister of Defence, will patronize Dubai Airshow 2023. Dubai World Central (DWC), Dubai Airshow Site, hosts the 18th edition from November 13-17, 2023.
