Launched by the African Development Bank (AfDB), the African Pharmaceutical Technology Foundation is an autonomous entity that will assist in enhancing Africa’s access to technology for the production of pharmaceutical products such as medications, vaccines, and other pharmaceutical goods.
The foundation will function as a technical middleman, linking technology providers with businesses.
Additionally, it will operate as a deal maker for the private sector, aiding in negotiations over vital technologies that are necessary for production and innovation.
